Dr. Bruce Gelch has resided in South Florida since 1979. He attended Miami Sunset Senior High School, then graduated from the University of Florida. He attended Life Chiropractic College, graduating in 1994, and has been practicing in South Florida since. 

Dr. Gelch has always had a love for sports and exercise and has a passion for helping others to be healthy and live pain free. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his twin girls and enjoys running, playing golf and exercise.

Dr. Jeffrey Baker, Jr. graduated from NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he learned to use continual research and the latest medical breakthroughs as the foundation of his career.

 

A lifelong sportsman, Dr. Baker practices family medicine and regenerative therapy with a focus on sports injuries. He emphasizes a methodical, individualized approach to each patient’s treatment.

Dr. Qurat Khan is a dual‑certified specialist in Psychiatry (ABPN) and Behavioral Neurology (UCNS), bringing a rare and highly sought‑after combination of expertise to Multi-Care Medical. Her clinical work focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of complex neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions, including dementias, traumatic brain injuries (TBIs), post‑stroke neuropsychiatric symptoms, and the cognitive or behavioral changes that often accompany these disorders.

Dr. Khan is a faculty member at Harvard Medical School and actively participates in international research collaborations, contributing to advancements in the fields of neurology and neuropsychiatry. Her approach integrates cutting‑edge science with compassionate, patient‑centered care, ensuring each patient receives a thorough and individualized evaluation.

Patients benefit from Dr. Khan’s ability to bridge neurological and psychiatric perspectives — providing comprehensive assessments, clear explanations, and evidence‑based treatment recommendations tailored to each individual’s needs.

Dr. Michael R. Mijares is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, fellowship-trained in Sports Medicine, specializing in arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery of the shoulder and knee. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Vanderbilt University and earned his Medical Doctorate with Highest Honors from Ross University School of Medicine.

Dr. Mijares completed his Orthopedic Surgery residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, where he served as Chief Resident. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, and Reconstructive Surgery at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute (SCOI) in Los Angeles, CA, receiving advanced training in minimally invasive techniques for a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions and injuries.

Dr. Mijares maintains a comprehensive orthopedic practice with expertise spanning sports injuries, degenerative joint disease, fracture care, and musculoskeletal trauma. He is committed to delivering accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans, both surgical and non-surgical, with the primary goal of restoring each patient's function, quality of life, and long-term health.

Dr. Mijares is an accomplished author with publications in arthroscopy, fracture surgery, and musculoskeletal injury management, reflecting his dedication to evidence-based, cutting-edge care. He approaches every patient with the same standard of excellence: thorough, ethical, and centered on what is best for the individual.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Mijares enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, and stays active through CrossFit, surfing, and golfing. He is deeply committed to providing the highest level of care for his patients, treating each individual as he would his own family.  

Surgical Director Paris Moran has grown with our company over the last 10 years — from working at the front desk and in physical therapy to now overseeing surgical operations across all offices. Known for a steady, hands-on leadership style and a genuine passion for helping people, Paris plays a key role in supporting both patients and staff.

Born and raised in South Florida, Paris brings a strong medical background to the role, holding a bachelor’s degree in Fire Inspector, Fire Sciences, and Emergency Medical Services, along with an associate’s degree in Sports Medicine from Nova University. Paris is also a certified Firefighter Paramedic, blending real-world emergency experience with clinical expertise to help ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Having personally undergone multiple surgeries, Paris is deeply dedicated to connecting one-on-one with patients and ensuring they feel seen, supported, and confident throughout their entire experience with Multi-Care Medical.

Katalina Bartelt, PA-C is a dedicated Physician Assistant with a passion for health, wellness, and patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Life University, graduating as Valedictorian, before continuing her education with a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from LeMoyne College. In recognition of her academic excellence and leadership, she was inducted into the PA Pi Alpha Honor Society.

During her time at Life University, Katalina was also a collegiate athlete in Women’s Wrestling, earning multiple All-American titles while helping lead her team to National Championship success. Her athletic background helped shape her discipline, resilience, and commitment to excellence both personally and professionally.

Outside of medicine, Katalina enjoys staying active through exercise, spending time at the beach, and traveling around the world exploring new cultures and experiences.

Christina Siciliano has 20 years of experience as a PTA. She earned her Associates in PTA from Lynn University and graduated in 2000. She previously owned and operated a private physical therapy practice, now serves as our Director of Physical Therapy. 

Christina has had advanced training in Graston technique, microcurrent point stimulation, Kinesio, McConnell and Rock Taping. Her experience has been in working with orthopedic injuries in athletes, pediatric, and geriatrics. Physical therapy is one of her passions, and feels fortunate to be able to practice every day.
