Dr. Bruce Gelch has resided in South Florida since 1979. He attended Miami Sunset Senior High School, then graduated from the University of Florida. He attended Life Chiropractic College, graduating in 1994, and has been practicing in South Florida since. 

Dr. Gelch has always had a love for sports and exercise and has a passion for helping others to be healthy and live pain free. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his twin girls and enjoys running, playing golf and exercise.

Dr. Jeffrey Baker, Jr. graduated from NOVA Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. There, he learned to use continual research and the latest medical breakthroughs as the foundation of his career.

 

A lifelong sportsman, Dr. Baker practices family medicine and regenerative therapy with a focus on sports injuries. He emphasizes a methodical, individualized approach to each patient’s treatment.

Dr. Frank McCormick MD is a board-certified orthopedic sports medicine surgeon specializing in arthroscopic treatment of the shoulder, hip, and knee with further sub-specialization in sports medicine and cartilage/joint preservation. Dr. McCormick obtained his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. 

Upon graduation, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy where he performed his surgical internship at the Naval Medical Center San Diego, followed by serving as an F/A-18 Fighter Jet Flight Surgeon for United States Marine Corps VMFA-314 squadron.

Subsequently, he completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Harvard Combined Orthopedic Residency Program where he was selected as a Chief Resident at Massachusetts General Hospital.

He then completed an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at the world-renown Rush Sports Medicine Fellowship followed by the prestigious International Cartilage Repair Society (ICRS) Sanofi travelling fellowship in joint preservation and cartilage regeneration.

Dr. McCormick has achieved regional, national and international recognition for his clinical research endeavors. He has authored over 100 peer-reviewed papers published in top orthopedic and sports medicine journals while speaking at regional, national or international conferences over 200 times.

Dr. McCormick served as an orthopedic sports medicine specialist within the Harvard medical faculty physician group at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, a Harvard Medical School teaching hospital. He led the sports medicine program, called SportSmart, which provided athletic care coverage to 12 local high schools, a community college athletic program, and a summer league baseball program. Dr. McCormick also served as the hospital’s surgical safety  officer, which was integral in the department’s safety cultural norms and care delivery via lean based approach, that based on the department’s scorecards–met or exceeded the surgical outcomes of the top Boston-based institutions.

Dr. McCormick’s surgical practice centers around complex shoulder, knee, cartilage and hip arthroscopy procedures, with a special interest in joint preservation. He regularly tracks his surgical outcomes and is keen on process improvement, value-based care delivery, and education and training. He leads a medical student research group, and they are successful in implementing numerous pathways that have outlined the benefits our lean based surgical care.

Dr. McCormick is currently commissioned as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Navy Reserve. He has also served as assistant team physician for the Chicago Bulls (NBA), Chicago White Sox (MLB), and Depaul University (Division I) Men’s and women’s basketball and soccer teams. He has also provided medical care for the New England Patriots (NFL), CrossFit World Competitions and Professional Volleyball.

Dr. McCormick is an Assistant Clinical Professor at Florida International University and Central Florida University with a previous academic appointment at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Milad Alam, a fellowship-trained Board Certified Orthopaedic Spine Surgeon, has specific training in minimally invasive surgical techniques and motion preservation (nonfusion) surgeries. He is dedicated to working directly with his patients in creating customized non-surgical and surgical plans of care for their individual needs and lifestyle.

Dr. Alam completed his medical school training at UC San Diego School of Medicine, and his residency in Orthopedic Surgery at Jackson Memorial/University of Miami hospital. He completed a combined Orthopedic and Neurosurgical Spine fellowship at the University of Southern California (USC) Spine Center with a focus on minimally invasive and robotic spine surgery for treatment of adult degenerative conditions. He has also complemented his fellowship training as a visiting spine fellow at Bern University Hospital in Switzerland.

After completing his graduate medical training, Dr. Alam served as the Chief of Orthopedic Spine Surgery at Riverside Orthopedic Institute (Rutherford, New Jersey), where he helped develop a comprehensive program offering surgical and nonsurgical treatments for degenerative neck and back conditions. Additionally, he served as an Associate Director of spine surgery at Hudson Regional Hospital (Secaucus, New Jersey), where he helped develop an award-winning Robotic Spinal Surgery program.

Dr. Alam has presented at major national spine conferences and written multiple peer-reviewed journal articles about spine conditions and surgical techniques. He is an active member of multiple professional societies, including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, AOSpine, and the North American Spine Society.

Dr. Abel Murillo MD is an established and highly skilled Pain Management Specialist with over 30 years of experience in Pain Management and Pain Medicine. He also specializes in Anesthesiology and holds various professional memberships including the American Academy of Pain Management, the American Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Anesthesia Research Society, and many more. 

With the majority of his medical experience in southern Florida, Dr. Murillo is well regarded in the community as an expert in the field. He takes pride in providing outstanding care and improving each patient's quality of life.

Dr. Gerald Rappaport is a board-certified chiropractic physician, federal medical examiner, and certified professional coder with extensive experience in musculoskeletal rehabilitation, injury management, and clinical documentation. He specializes in evidence-based chiropractic care, soft tissue rehabilitation, and functional assessment for patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries sustained in automobile accidents and slip-and-fall incidents. 

Known for his precision, professionalism, and patient-centered approach, Dr. Rappaport integrates chiropractic principles with multidisciplinary treatment protocols to help restore function, mobility, and overall wellness.

Surgical Director Paris Moran has grown with our company over the last 10 years — from working at the front desk and in physical therapy to now overseeing surgical operations across all offices. Known for a steady, hands-on leadership style and a genuine passion for helping people, Paris plays a key role in supporting both patients and staff.

Born and raised in South Florida, Paris brings a strong medical background to the role, holding a bachelor’s degree in Fire Inspector, Fire Sciences, and Emergency Medical Services, along with an associate’s degree in Sports Medicine from Nova University. Paris is also a certified Firefighter Paramedic, blending real-world emergency experience with clinical expertise to help ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Having personally undergone multiple surgeries, Paris is deeply dedicated to connecting one-on-one with patients and ensuring they feel seen, supported, and confident throughout their entire experience with Multi-Care Medical.

Dr. Michele Martucci, DPT earned his graduate degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in 2020 and is a former division 1 college athlete. He is also trilingual and has been residing in Southwest, FL for the last three years.

Dr. Martucci is deeply committed to patient care and outcomes. His goal in life is to make an impact in his community by improving function and overall quality of life in everyone that he encounters.

Danielle "Dani" Brown is our Regional Business Development Manager for all Multi-Care Medical Offices on the west coast of Florida. She moved to beautiful Southwest Florida in 1998 from Worcester, Massachusetts. After graduating from Mariner High School, she attended FGCU for her core studies and later entered the Surgical Technology program at SW Florida College. It was there that she graduated with honors and received her degree.

After gaining some valuable experience in the operating room, Dani later crossed over to practice management. Now, she has over 15 years of experience in managing and operating orthopedic and chiropractic practices. Dani has been with the Multi-Care family since April 2017, helping to grow the practice and manage patient care. She is committed to working within a practice that prioritizes quality patient care and successful patient recovery.

Shelly Them has been practicing in the physical therapy field for 23 years and the massage therapy field for 30 years. She was born in Ashland Ohio and attended the Columbus Collage of massotherapy and The Ohio State University.

Shelly began her career focusing on knee and hip replacements and then transitioned into the neurology field working with neck and back injuries. She specializes in deep tissue myofascial therapy, kinesio taping, Graston technique, orthopedic rehabilitation, shockwave therapy and balance training.

She has shown a natural ability to combine manual therapy and neuromuscular recruitment techniques with therapeutic exercises to get the best outcomes for her patients.

Christina Siciliano has 20 years of experience as a PTA. She earned her Associates in PTA from Lynn University and graduated in 2000. She previously owned and operated a private physical therapy practice, now serves as our Director of Physical Therapy. 

Christina has had advanced training in Graston technique, microcurrent point stimulation, Kinesio, McConnell and Rock Taping. Her experience has been in working with orthopedic injuries in athletes, pediatric, and geriatrics. Physical therapy is one of her passions, and feels fortunate to be able to practice every day. 

Shawn Suchdeve, PA-C obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences from the University of Central Florida and graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University with a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies.

 Shawn values the time he spends with his patients and focuses on making sure they have all the resources they need to help them along their recovery. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family as well as exploring the outdoors.

Laura Harhart graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She has over 27 years of experience working as a licensed physical therapist in a variety of settings. 

Laura specializes in the Graston technique, Kinesio taping, and Orthopedic Rehabilitation. She also is certified in Pilates Rehabilitation. She can incorporate all of her experiences and skills to improve and transform the quality of life to her patients.
